Root Cause of the error →
The error is triggered when the client inputs special characters, such as an aapostrophe (') sign or backward slash (\) sign, while entering data in the previous year's records.

Solution
To resolve this issue, the data from the previous year must be corrected before importing it into the current year. Please follow the steps outlined below:

Access Previous Year Records:
  1. Navigate to the previous year's system or database.
Generate Tax Audit Consolidated Report:
  1. Open the Tax Audit module and generate the Tax Audit Consolidated Report for the previous year.
Export the Report:
  1. Print or export the report in either Word or PDF format to enable easier data review.
Identify Special Characters:
  1. Search the report for instances of the apostrophe (') sign or backward slash (\) sign that may have been erroneously entered in the data.
Amend the Data:
  1. Once you identify the points where these special characters occur, note down the specific entries and navigate to the corresponding data in the system.
  2. Carefully remove or correct the special characters in the previous year’s data.
  3. Save the changes after all corrections have been made.
Verify the Data:
  1. After making the necessary corrections, ensure that no further special characters remain in the previous year’s data.
Import Corrected Data into the Current Year:
  1. With the corrected previous year data in place, proceed to import the Tax Audit Report data into the current year's system.
Following these steps should resolve the issue, ensuring that the special characters no longer cause errors during the data import process.
