Root Cause of the error →
This error occurs due to insufficient permissions for accessing the specified path or file (C:\KDK Data) or when the software is not executed with Administrator privileges. It can also occur if the KDK Data folder is missing.
Resolution Steps →
Step 1: Run the Software as an Administrator : Process - Right-click on the software executable or shortcut.
- Select "Run as Administrator" from the context menu.
Step 2: Verify the Existence of the KDK Data Folder
- Navigate to the C:\ drive and confirm whether the "KDK Data" folder exists.
- If the folder does not exist, create it manually.
Step 3: Grant Appropriate Permissions : Process - Locate the KDK Data and KDK Software folders.
- Right-click on each folder and select "Properties".
- Navigate to the "Security" tab and click "Edit" (administrative privileges may be required).
- Add or update the user permissions to provide full access as required by the software.
Step 4: Restart the Application
- Once the above steps are completed, restart the software to apply the changes.
