TDS || Correction → Excel export and Import Procedure

The procedure below outlines the data import and export through Excel in the TDS software, along with the correction process:
  1. To initiate a correction, first download and import the consolidated file into the software.
  2. To do so, click on "Click Here to Download Consolidated File" to request and download the file.
NOTE : Ensure you select the respective deductor, assessment year, and quarter before proceeding with the correction.

Correction Procedure:
  1. Navigate to the "Corrections" button in the software.
  2. From the drop-down list, select the option - "Correction 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, or 27EQ".
      
  1. Browse and select the consolidated file (.tds File) using the browse button [...].
      
  1. Click on Proceed, and then confirm by clicking 'YES' to import the file.
      
  1. The imported consolidate file will be displayed on the screen.
      
  1. Double click on the imported file to access further correction options.
Excel Export / Import:

We have provided the option for Excel import to facilitate the process, especially when dealing with a large number of entries. Here are the steps for Excel export/import:

      

Exporting Excel Blank Template:
  1. Select the appropriate form and releavent details (Challan, Deductee, Salary Details) in the software.
      
  1. Click on the Export button to download the Excel template.
Importing Excel Data:
  1. Once all details are filled in the Excel template, proceed to import the data.
  2. Navigate to the "Import Excel File Path" option and browse for the Excel sheet containing the filled data.
      
  1. After selecting the file, click on the Proceed button to import the data into the software.
Following these steps will ensure efficient data management and correction within the TDS software, whether through importing the consolidated file or utilizing the Excel import/export feature.
