Encountered Errors:

These errors can arise due to various reasons, including system configurations and software compatibility issues. Below are the recommended solutions to resolve these problems effectively:

Solution 1: Run the Software as an Administrator

Certain Windows security settings may restrict the software from functioning correctly. To resolve this:
  1. Navigate to the installation directory:
    1. C:\Program Files\K.D.K. Software\Spectrum or
    2. C:\Program Files (x86)\K.D.K. Software\Spectrum
  2. Right-click on the Zen Spectrum icon (red icon) and select Properties.
  3. In the Properties window, go to the Compatibility tab.
  4. Check the box for Run this program as an administrator.
  5. Click Apply and then OK.

Solution 2: Update the Software

  1. Outdated software versions can lead to compatibility issues.
  2. Ensure that you are using the latest version by following the update instructions provided here: Live Update Guide

Solution 3: Update Required DLL Files

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, manually updating the DLL files may be necessary. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the software support folder:
  1. C:\Program Files (x86)\K.D.K. Software\KDK Support or
  2. C:\Program Files\K.D.K. Software\KDK Support
Step 2: Run the Update.exe file and open the Download Manager.
Step 3: Download the following files: KDK Support (Old) and DLL-Full
Step 4: Extract the downloaded files.
Step 5: Install the KDK Support file.
Step 6: Copy the extracted DLL files and paste them into the appropriate system folders:
  1. For 32-bit systems: C:\Windows\System32
  2. For 64-bit systems: C:\Windows\SysWOW64

Solution 4: Reinstall the Software

If the issue persists after following the above steps, a fresh installation may resolve the problem.

Step 1: Uninstall the software through the Control Panel:
  1. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program.
  2. Locate the software, right-click, and select Uninstall.
Step 2: Install the software in a different directory (e.g., a custom location other than the default installation path).

This format ensures clarity and professionalism while guiding the user through the resolution steps.
