"Please Enter Date of Dividend Income in Other Source Income → Other Income Detail."
This occurs because the software requires a date of dividend income to be entered under the Other Sources Dividend Income section for proper computation.

Description of error :-
This error occurs while importing AIS details because the date of dividend income is not imported into the software.
Reason for the Issue:
- When importing AIS details, the AIS JSON file (which the software processes in the backend) does not contain the date of dividend income from the portal.
- As a result, the software cannot import the date of dividend during the AIS importing process, leading to the error message.
How It Works with 26AS Import:
- When importing 26AS details, the dividend details are imported along with the date of dividend.
- This is because the 26AS text file from the department’s site contains the date of dividend, allowing the software to import it correctly.
Conclusion:
- The issue arises only when importing AIS, as the date of dividend is missing in the AIS JSON file.
- However, when importing 26AS, the date of dividend is available, so the software imports it successfully.

Solution:

Scenario 01:
If you want to import dividend details with the date from the department portal, first import the AIS, and then run the 26AS import process. If you run the 26AS import process last, the software will overwrite the dividend details as per the 26AS, and you will see the dividend details with dates.
Note:- If you want to learn about the AIS and 26AS importing process, follow the knowledge base articles below:
Scenario 02:
If you want to enter the date of dividend details manually, then:
Step 1:

Step 3:
An annexure of this type will open here:
1. Allowing you to Manually enter the dividend date.
2. If there are multiple entries or large amounts of data, you can use the 'Dividend Export to Excel' option to export the data to an Excel file.
3. After entering the dividend dates in the Excel file, you can import the updated data using the 'Import Dividend Data from Excel' button.
Hope This Helps.
