To ensure accurate registration for new users, follow these detailed steps:

Client Master Creation:
  1. Open the Income Tax Auditor Software.
  2. Navigate to the "Master" section and choose "Client Selection (Add, Edit, Delete)" or press the F8 key.
      
  1. Click on "Add Entry" to initiate the addition of a new client.
      
  1. Fill in all required fields with accurate information.
  2. In the Office Address Tab, ensure to "Enable Locality PO" by checking the corresponding box. Then, select the correct options for Locality and Post Office Name from the dropdown menu. (This step is essential for the New User Registration Process).
  3. Note that the process of creating a client master remains consistent across various ITR forms, with only the "STATUS" field changing. However, some fields may vary or be added/replaced depending on the form.
  4. After verifying all entered details, click "Save" to store the information.

Registration on the Income Tax Portal:
  1. Access "Online Tools" → "Online Activity 2.0" within the software.
  2. If a password was not previously entered in the Client master window, create a new one here.
  3. Click on the "New User" button to proceed.
      
  1. In the prompted window, select the appropriate options for "Mobile No. belongs to" and "Email belongs to" from the dropdown menus.
  2. Save your selections by clicking the corresponding button, then proceed by clicking on the "Register PAN" button.
      
  1. You will be redirected to the portal where you must provide and verify all the necessary details accurately.
  2. After being redirected to the Income Tax Portal, ensure that you have filled in all the required basic and contact details accurately.
  3. Verify the information you have provided to ensure its correctness.
  4. Once you have confirmed that all details are correct, click on the "Continue" button to proceed with the registration process.
  5. Please input the One-Time Password (OTP) received on your mobile phone and email to register this PAN on the Income Tax Portal.
