Unknown File Type

Income Tax || Unknown File Type

If the user is getting “Unknown File Type” while generating any Reports through Income Tax Auditor either MAIN system or LAN system, then the reason would be that the software was not updated successfully.

            


The report for which the issue is occurring can be resolved following the process given below:


Step 1: Navigate to the root location of the software - C:\Program Files (x86)\K.D.K. Software or C:\Program Files\K.D.K. Software.
Step 2: Delete the config file.
Step 3: Restart the software and check for the previously mentioned issue.

If the same issue occurs, please update the Income Tax Software on both the SERVER and the LAN/Client Machine.
