LAN Setting || This is not the LAN version, please contact KDK software to upgrade to LAN.
This message appears when a client has purchased the Single User (SU) Plan software but needs to run the software on a Local Area Network (LAN) machine as well.
To verify the Software Plan, follow these steps:
- Open the software on the "Software SERVER machine".
- On the front screen, you will see the Software Plan displayed, such as "Spectrum Gold SU".
In this context:
- SU (Single User) means that the software is configured to run on only one system. It is not designed for operation in a LAN environment or with LAN settings.
- MU (Multi-User) means that the software is configured to run on multiple systems within a LAN environment, allowing multiple users to access it simultaneously.
If you wish to run the Single User Plan software on multiple machines, you need to upgrade the plan from Single User (SU) to Multi-User (MU). This upgrade will enable the software to operate in a LAN environment, supporting multiple users across different machines.
