To reduce complications of data entry in TDS software, a facility has been provided where the user can import data through excel and can export data in excel.

Excel Export :
Exporting a Blank Excel Template:
  1. Go to the "Tools" section within the TDS software.
  2. Look for the option labeled "Download Excel Template" and click on it.
  3. A menu will appear where you need to select the appropriate form for which you want to export the data. Choose the relevant form and proceed.
      
  1. After selecting the form, the software will prompt you to specify the location where you want to save the Excel template. Navigate to your desired location and click on the "Save" button.

Exporting a Filled Excel Template:
  1. Navigate to the "Export/Import" section in the software.
  2. Look for the option labeled "Export in Excel" and click on it.
  3. Similar to exporting a blank template, select the appropriate form you want to export.

Excel Import :
  1. First, ensure that you have filled in the necessary details within the Excel template you wish to import.
  2. Navigate to the "Export/Import" section within the TDS software.
  3. Look for the option labeled "Import From Excel" and click on it.

  2. Next, you'll need to browse your computer to locate the Excel template file you wish to import. When browsing, you may be asked whether you're dealing with a new client code or an existing one. Select the appropriate option.
  3. Enter the Deductor Code as required by the software.
  4. Finally, proceed with the import process as guided by the software.
