These errors may arise due to various factors, including system configurations and software compatibility issues. Follow the recommended solutions below to resolve the problem effectively.

Solution 1: Run the Software as an Administrator

Certain Windows security settings may prevent the software from functioning correctly. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the installation directory: 
    1. C:\Program Files\K.D.K. Software\Spectrum
    2. C:\Program Files (x86)\K.D.K. Software\Spectrum
  2. Right-click on the Zen Spectrum icon (red icon) and select Properties.
  3. In the Properties window, go to the Compatibility tab.
  4. Check the option "Run this program as an administrator".
  5. Click Apply, then OK.


Solution 2: Update the Software and Required DLL Files

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, manually updating the necessary DLL files may be required. Follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the software support folder:
    1. C:\Program Files (x86)\K.D.K. Software\KDK Support
    2. C:\Program Files\K.D.K. Software\KDK Support
  2. Run Update.exe and open the Download Manager.
  3. Download the following files:
    1. KDK Support (Old)
    2. DLL-Full
    3. Spectrum
  4. Extract the downloaded files.
  5. Install the KDK Support file.
  6. Copy the extracted DLL files and paste them into the appropriate system folders:
    1. For 32-bit systems: C:\Windows\System32
    2. For 64-bit systems: C:\Windows\SysWOW64
  7. Copy the Spectrum files and paste them into the appropriate software folders:
    1. C:\Program Files (x86)\K.D.K. Software\Spectrum
    2. C:\Program Files\K.D.K. Software\Spectrum


Solution 3: Reinstall the Software

If the issue persists, a fresh installation may resolve the problem. Follow these steps:
  1. Uninstall the software via the Control Panel:
    1. Navigate to Control Panel → Programs → Uninstall a Program.
    2. Locate the software, right-click, and select Uninstall.
  2. Reinstall the software in a different directory (e.g., a custom location instead of the default installation path).

By following these steps, the issue should be resolved.
