
Income Tax return Filling 'Due date' of Partner of a firm whose required to be audited:
As per the Income Tax Act, Explanation 2 to Section 139, if a partner of a firm is required to have their accounts audited under Section 44AB or under any other law for the time being in force, the due date for filing the return of income for the partner will be the same as that of the partnership firm (audited).
For example, in the assessment year 2020-2021, the due date for the partner (who is a partner of a firm whose accounts are required to be audited) was 31st October, which was extended to 15th February 2021.

How to enter details in 'Schedule-IF: Information regarding partnership firms in which the assessee is a partner.

Step 1:
Go to transactions → Business & Profession Income → Remuneration:

Here, you need to enter the details of the firm in which the assessee is a partner.

Step 2:
Here, tick the options "Is Working Partner" and "Whether Firm is Liable to Audit".

Step 3:
Now you can check the due date in computation
Go to Forms >>Computation >> Click on Print:
