Process for Entering Expenses Details in the Other Sources Head
Follow the steps below to accurately feed other expenses details under the "Other Sources" head in the software:
Step 1: Access the "Other Source Income" Head
- Navigate to the Transaction button in the software.
- Click on the Other Source Income head to proceed.
Step 2: Enter Income and Expenses Details
- Select the Other Income head and input the relevant income details.
- Next, click on the Expenses column.
- On the left-hand side, locate the Expenses option and click on it.
- An annexure window will open.
- Enter the details of Expenses in the provided fields within the annexure.
- Save the details.
- Click on the Back option to exit the annexure.
- Finally, Save this master entry.
Important Note
- The Expenses value must not exceed the Other Income value.
- For example, if your "Other Income" is ₹10,000, the "Other Expenses" value must be ₹10,000 or less.
- If the entered expense exceeds the income, an error will occur during return validation.
By following this procedure, you can successfully feed the details of other expenses under the "Other Sources" head in the software.
