Previous year figures do not appear in the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements

To solve this problem, please follow the steps given below.

First of all, you have to ensure that you have entered the data in the previous year.

Go into transaction > balance sheet > trial balance

Step 1:

Go into tools > balance sheet options > Print option

Step 2:

Here, check the "Show Previous Year Figures" option and enter the dates (dd/mm/yyyy) for "Balance Sheet As On" for both the current year and the previous year:

Step 3:

Now you can check in the "Financial Report" section, and the figures of the previous year will appear:
