Root Cause of the Error →
This issue arises when 'TDS Deposit by book entry' is selected as 'Yes' and a value is entered in the 'Minor Head of Challan' field.

Solution → To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
  1. Click on "Open Save Location".
  2. In the opened folder, find and open the generated TEXT file.
  3. Note the error line number provided by the software.
      
  1. Search for the error line number in the text file to find the corresponding record.
  2. Go to the software and navigate to Challans.
  3. Select the relevant form (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, or 27EQ).
  4. Find and open the same record that corresponds to the error.
  5. Fix the 'Minor Head of Challan' Field: If 'TDS Deposit by book entry' is set to 'Yes', ensure that the 'Minor Head of Challan' field is left blank.
      
  1. Update the Record.
      
  1. Correct any other Employee Master records as needed.
  2. Regenerate the return.
