Process to Login at TRACES/Income Tax Portal through Express TDS

Here is a step-by-step guide to access the TRACES and Income Tax portals through Express TDS:

Step 1: Login to Express TDS
  1. Open a web browser and go to https://www.expresstds.com/app/login.
  2. Enter your User ID & Password to log in.

Step 2: Select Company/Deductor
  1. After logging in, locate the section to select the Company/Deductor.
      
  1. Choose the correct organization or entity for which you need TDS-related services, especially if you manage multiple entities.

Step 3: Login to the TRACES Portal
  1. After selecting the company/deductor, look for the TRACES icon.
      
  1. Click on this icon, and it will redirect you to the TRACES portal login page.

Step 4: Login to the Income Tax Portal
  1. In the same dashboard, find the ITD icon.
      
  1. Click on the ITD icon to be redirected to the Income Tax Portal (https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login).

Important Tips:
  1. Update User ID and Password: Ensure that the credentials for both TRACES and Income Tax portals are updated and accurate.
  2. Reset Forgotten Password: If you’ve forgotten your password, use the password reset option on the respective portal’s login page.
