To ensure the security and integrity of client income tax data, Zen IT offers a straightforward process to lock or unlock this information.
Follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the "Tools" menu.
  2. Select the option labeled "Lock Client Income Tax Data".
      
  1. Within this feature, you'll encounter a section titled "Locked" with a dropdown menu providing two options: "Yes" or "No".
    1. If you choose "Yes," it signifies that the client's income tax data is currently locked for editing. This ensures that no modifications can be made to the data, maintaining its integrity and preventing unauthorized changes.
    2. Conversely, selecting "No" indicates that the client's data is unlocked. In this state, you have the ability to make changes to the income tax data as needed.
  2. In the software interface, an additional feature is present to indicate the status of the selected client. When a client is locked, this status is prominently displayed. If you wish to unlock the client, simply click on the "LOCK" picture associated with the client.
