Process to Feed Key Persons / Ownership Information in Express ITR

Step 1: Access Client Profile
  1. Log in to Express ITR and open the relevant client’s profile.
  2. Navigate to the ITR Summary section.
  3. Click on Return Flow to access the ITR options.
      

Step 2: Navigate to Business Profession Head
  1. Select the Business Profession Head option from the menu.
  2. Click on Business Information to proceed.
      

Step 3: Enter Key Persons/ Ownership Info
  1. Open the annexure titled Key Persons/Ownership Info.
  2. Fill in the required details in the relevant fields. These include:
    1. Key Persons - Enter the names, designations, and other relevant details of key persons involved in the business.
    2. Ownership Information - Provide details of the ownership structure, including information on partners, shareholders, or stakeholders.
    3. In case of unlisted company, particulars of natural persons who were the ultimate beneficial owners, directly or indirectly, of shares holding not less than 10% of the voting power at any time of the PY
    4. In case of Foreign company, please furnish the details of immediate parent company
    5. In case of foreign company, please furnish the details of ultimate parent company
    6. Business Reconganisation - If applicable, include details of any business reorganization events.

  1. Ensure all entered information matches the official records and is free from discrepancies.
  2. Cross-verify the ownership and key person details with supporting documents for accuracy.
By following these steps, you will successfully feed the Key Persons and Ownership Information into the system, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
