Root cause of the error → This issue occurs when the Signing Authority PAN (Sign-PAN) is not entered in the Client Master.
Resolution → To resolve the above error, enter the Signing Authority PAN Number in the Client Master. Follow the steps below:
Steps to Correct the Error:
Step 1: Access the Client Master
- Navigate to Master → Client Selection (Add, Edit, Delete). Use the shortcut F8 for quick access.
Step 2: Edit the Client Details
- Select the relevant client and click the Edit Client icon.
- A confirmation prompt will appear with the message: "Wish to edit - CLIENT NAME", Click Yes to proceed.
Step 3: Modify Assessment Year Details
- In the Client Details window, select the Assessment Year.
- Use the Delete option to remove all entries from the dropdown.
Step 4: Enter Signing Authority PAN
- Return to the Master Menu and click OK.
- Open the Client Master page and input the Sign-PAN (Signing Authority PAN Number).
Step 5: Save Changes
- Ensure all updates are saved to finalize the corrections.
