ITR-7 JSON Generation issue → Capacity error


ERROR - Value "" is not defined in enum. Path 'ITR.ITR7.Verification.Declaration.Capacity'

      

ERROR - enumeration constraint failed. The element 'Capacity' has an invalid value according to its data type.

      

Root Cause of the Issue → This issue arises when the Designation field is not selected from the dropdown in the Client Master.

Resolution Steps → To address this issue, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Navigate to Master → Client Selection (Add, Edit, Delete) [Shortcut: F8].

      

Step 2: Select the client and click the Edit Client icon.

      

Step 3: A confirmation prompt will appear with the message: "Wish to edit - CLIENT NAME", Click Yes to proceed.

      

Step 4: In the client details window, select the Assessment Year.
  1. Choose the Delete option and remove all entries from the dropdown.
      

Step 5: Return to the Master menu and click OK.

      

Step 6: Open the Client Master page, and select the appropriate Designation from the dropdown list.

      
Step 7: Save the updated details to finalize the changes.
