Invalid CIN File Name

TDS || E-Filing → Invalid CIN File Name

      

Root Cause of the Error
This issue arises when there are multiple CSI files in the root directory, and the client selects a CSI file that contains spaces or special characters in its name.

Solution
To resolve the error, please follow these steps:
  1. Click the "Browse" button  next to the "Challan Input Name with File Path".
      
  1. This will open the directory where the CSI files are stored.
  2. Delete all the existing CSI files in this location.
  3. Download the latest CSI file by clicking the "Download CSI (IT)" button.
      
  1. Select the newly downloaded CSI file in the Challan Input Name with File Path field.
  2. Finally, click on the E-Filing button to check if the issue is resolved.
This process should fix the error.
