Zen IT || e-Payment of Challan
Online Challan Payment:
- Navigate to the "Transactions" module in the system and click on the "e-Payment of Challan" button.
- Fill out the required Income Tax and other payment details.
- Select your preferred mode of payment (Debit Card, Net Banking, NEFT/RTGS, or Payment Gateway).
- Choose the bank where you wish to deposit the payment from the provided list.
- Specify the appropriate section for which you are making the challan deposit.
- Click on the "e-Payment" button to initiate the electronic payment process.
- Allow the system to automatically fetch necessary details from the master database.
- Log in to the Income Tax portal using the provided credentials.
- Ensure that you enter Income Tax login details in the designated section under "Online Tools" → "Online Activity 2.0 (Ctrl + X)".
- Let the system automatically populate relevant details after logging in.
- Upon successful login, the system will direct you to the selected bank's Net Payment Gateway facility.
- Enter your User ID and Password to access the bank's internet banking module.
- Follow the prompts on the bank's interface to complete the e-payment process, providing all required information.
- Verify the transaction details thoroughly and confirm the e-payment.
- Once the payment is successfully processed, make sure to obtain a receipt or acknowledgment for future reference.
Offline Challan Payment (Pay at Bank Counter)
- Choose the payment mode as "Pay at Bank Counter".
- From the list provided, select the bank where you wish to deposit the payment.
- Click on the "e-Payment" button to proceed further.
- Log in to the Income Tax portal using the provided credentials.
- Allow the system to automatically fill in relevant details after logging in.
- After a successful login, the system will redirect you to the ITD Portal.
- Select "Payment Through" Option on Department Website and click on Continue option to Generate the Offline Challan.
- Download the Challan from "Download Challan Form" option.
