Income Tax || Auditor Information

Navigate to "Transactions" → "Auditor Information".

      

Enter Tax Audit Information:

      

Financial Statement and Audit Report:
  1. Choose the format for Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account (Vertical or Horizontal).
  2. Specify whether Tax Audit under section 44AB is applicable (Yes or No).
  3. Provide the relevant Clause of Section 44AB.
  4. Enter the Date and Place of signing the Balance Sheet.
  5. Input the Acknowledgement Number issued for the audit.

Enter Tax Audit Information:
  1. Select the relevant Firm Name from the Dropdown menu.
  2. Choose the Name of the Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Dropdown list.
  3. Automatically fetch Firm PAN No / Aadhaar No and Membership details from the Consultant Information.
  4. Input the Date of the Tax Audit Report.
  5. Specify the Date of Furnishing the Audit Report.
  6. Provide the Place where the Audit Report was conducted.
  7. The Audit Period will be Autofilled based on the Assessment Year.
  8. Include the Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) for the audit report.
  9. Check Mark on if you are liable to maintain accounts as per section 44AA.
      
  1. Check Mark on if you are liable for Audit under section 92E.
      

Other Audit Report Details:


  1. Select Act and Section: Choose the Act Name and relevant Section from the provided Dropdown menus.
  2. Audit Status: Indicate whether the entity has been audited (Yes or No).
  3. Dates: Enter the Date of the Audit Report and Specify the Date of Furnishing the Audit Report.
  4. Firm and Auditor: Select the Firm/Proprietorship Name and Auditor's Name from the Dropdown lists.
  5. Auto-fill PAN/Membership: Firm PAN No. and Membership No. will be filled automatically based on stored information.
  6. Acknowledgement and UDIN: Input the Acknowledgement Number for the audit report.
  7. Include the UDIN (Unique Document Identification Number).

Company Audit Information:

      
  1. Select Firm Name of Company Auditors: Choose the Firm Name of the Company's Auditors from the Dropdown menu.
  2. Select Name of Chartered Accountant: Select the Name of the Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Dropdown list.
  3. Select Cash Flow Statement (Yes or No): Indicate whether the Cash Flow Statement is applicable (Yes or No).
  4. Select CARO Applicable (Yes or No): Specify whether CARO (Companies Auditor's Report Order) is applicable (Yes or No).
  5. Fill Date and Time of AGM (Annual General Meeting): Enter the Date and Time of the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  6. Fill No. of AGM and Place (Registered or Any Other): Provide the Number of the AGM and specify the Place (Registered Office or Another Location).
  7. Fill Number of Meetings: Enter the total Number of Meetings held during the financial year.
  8. Fill AGM No. in which Auditor Appointed: Specify the AGM Number in which the Auditor was appointed.
  9. Enter Date of Directors' Report/Notice: Input the Date of the Directors' Report or Notice issued for the AGM.
  10. Select Whether Company is Listed (Yes or No): Indicate whether the Company is listed on a stock exchange (Yes or No).
  11. Notice and Director Report Signature (Person 1 and 2): Specify the names of the persons who signed the Notice and Directors' Report.
  12. Select Eligibility for Exemption as per MCA Notification (Yes or No): Choose whether the company is eligible for exemption as per the Notification issued by MCA on June 13, 2017 (Yes or No).
  13. Fill UDIN (Unique Document Identification Number) Number: Enter the UDIN Number associated with the audit report.

By following these steps, you'll efficiently complete the Auditor Information section with all the required details for tax audit and consultant/CA firm information.
