Steps for Importing Schedule III Data Using Excel in Express ITR

Step 1: Navigate to the 'Prepare' section, click on the 'Business and Profession' head, and open 'Schedule III'.

      
      
      

Step 2: Click on the 'Import' button and select 'Click here to Download Template' to download the Schedule III Excel template.

      
      

Step 3: After downloading the template, enter all the relevant data in the specific sheets provided within the Schedule III Excel template, following your financial records.

      
      

Step 4: Once the template is complete, browse to the saved location of the Excel file, select it, and click the 'Import' button.

      
  1. If you have already entered data into that specific schedule in the software, importing the Excel file will overwrite the existing data.
  2. To prevent the import of a specific schedule through Excel, simply uncheck it before clicking the 'Import' button. This will ensure only selected data is imported into the software.
       
      

Step 5: After completing these steps, all the data you have prepared in the Excel template will be successfully imported into the software.
