Import GSTR-2 Data from Tally to Express GST

ExpressGST || Import GSTR-2 Data from Tally to Express GST

When importing GSTR-2 data from Tally to Express GST, it’s essential that the following prerequisites are met to ensure accurate mapping and successful data import.

Prerequisites for Importing GSTR-2 from Tally to Express GST:

Matching GSTIN Number:
  1. The GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) in both Tally and Express GST must be identical.
  2. If there’s any discrepancy between the GSTIN in Tally and Express GST, the system will not be able to map or import the data accurately.
Matching Port Code:
  1. The Port Code used in both Tally and Express GST must match.
  2. The port code is essential for identifying the correct import/export location. Mismatches may prevent successful data import.
Ensuring that both the GSTIN number and the Port Code are identical will allow Express GST to seamlessly map and import the GSTR-2 data from Tally, making the process efficient and error-free.
