How to restore backup taken through software?
If client has taken the data backup through software then regarding data restore please follow the steps below:
For Data Restore > Spectrum (Excluding TDS)
- Open Spectrum Software > Utility > Database Utility > Backup & Restore (excluding TDS)
- In Warning simply click on Ok.
- Now click on complete restore button.
- Select Backup available with you.
- In Warning message Click on Yes -
NOTE : If Yes --- EXISTING DATA 'WILL BE OVERWRITED'
- Once Done message shown as - Restore done successfully!
Now, Restart the application and then check the data (excluding TDS Software).
For Data Restore > TDS Software
- Open TDS Software > Tools > Database Utility
- In Database Utility > Complete Restore
- Browse the data available with you and then click on Proceed.
- Once done, Message appears - Restore Done Successfully.
Now, Restart the software and then check the TDS Data.
For Data Restore > Only Income Tax Software
If client is Using Income Tax Standard or Income Tax Auditor Version OR client purchase the Spectrum but using only income tax software then follow the steps Below
- Open Income Tax Software > Tools > Database Utility
- In Database Utility > Complete Restore
- Browse the data available with you and then click on Proceed.
- In Warning message Click on Yes -
NOTE : If Yes --- EXISTING DATA 'WILL BE OVERWRITED'
- Once done, Message appears - Restore Done Successfully.
Now, Restart the software and then check the Income Tax Data.
