How to find the IP address of your Windows based system?
To find the
IP address of your system please go through the step-by-step instructions
provided below:
- Open the Command Prompt. Press the Windows and R keys
simultaneously (Win + R) on your keyboard,
a small window as below pop up will appear,
enter “cmd” into the
box.
- Press Enter key
to open the command prompt.

- Now type “ipconfig” in command prompt
and press enter.
- You can see on the top of the list marked with
red box “IPv4 Address” under either Wireless Network
connection or Local Area Connection.
(depending on which lan connectivity you are using).

This should
help in finding IP address of your system which we generally need in
client-server lan setup.
