Table conversion in the exbace software

eXBace || Table Converter


When preparing an XBRL return, users may face difficulty entering data in a tabular format. This occurs because tabular format data may not appear correctly in the report, and the Validation Tool may not validate the report. As a solution, users are required to enter tabular data in HTML format using the "Table Converter" option. To convert tables in the eXBace software, please follow the steps provided below:

Step 1:

Open the eXBace Software and Go to Tools → Table Converter option given in the menu bar.



Step 2:

Copy table to table converter as shown in the below screenshot and click on “Convert Button”




Now the Excel cells get converted to an HTML table format.
Copy this HTML code into the table or Text Block. 


NOTE: Before processing to the above process, it is required to clear all the formats available in the excel. To do so, select the table in the Excel sheet → Home → Clear → Clear Formats
Once the formats are cleared, then copy the content under Table converter or eXBace software and then proceed to convert. 
"Do not use merge cell in this table."
