Process to Feed Holding and Subsidiary Company Information in Express ITR

Step 1: Access Client Profile
  1. Log in to Express ITR and open the relevant client’s profile.
  2. Navigate to the ITR Summary section.
  3. Click on Return Flow to access the ITR options.
      
Step 2: Navigate to Business Profession Head
  1. Go to the Business Profession Head option from the menu.
  2. Select Business Information to proceed.
      

Step 3: Provide Holding/Subsidiary Details
  1. Open the annexure titled Holding/Subsidiary Status.
  2. Select the Nature of the Company from the options available:
    1. HOLDING
    2. SUBSIDIARY
    3. BOTH (if the company is both a holding and a subsidiary)
    4. OTHER (for cases that don’t fall under the above categories)
      
  1. Provide the relevant details as required, including:
    1. Names of the holding or subsidiary companies.
    2. Relationships with these entities.
    3. Identification details (such as CIN/Registration Numbers, etc.).
    4. Any additional information required based on the selection.
      

Important Notes:
  1. Ensure that the data provided is accurate and matches the official records.
  2. Cross-check the relationships and statuses with supporting documentation, such as company registration details or financial statements.
By following these steps, you can correctly feed the holding and subsidiary company information into the system for compliance and reporting purposes.
