To generate Form 16 using the income tax software, follow these steps:
  1. Launch the income tax software and navigate to the computation page where you can generate Form 16.
  2. Once on the computation page, look for the Form 16 option. Option is located in the left panel or menu of the software interface.
      
  1. Click on the "Form 16" button or option to proceed with generating Form 16.
  2. Within the Form 16 generation interface, you may be required to provide additional details such as date and place and Click on OK.
      
  1. This prompt may ask -- "Do you want to generate PDF of 'Print_Form16_2020' report?"
      
  1. If you wish to save Form 16 in PDF format, select the "YES" option. This will initiate the process of converting the Form 16 into a PDF document and saved in KDK Data Folder.
  2. If you prefer not to save Form 16 in PDF format at this time, select the "NO" option. This will allow you to explore other options or proceed without generating a PDF.
  3. Regardless of whether you chose to save it in PDF format or not, the generated Form 16 will typically be displayed on the screen for your review and reference.
      

By following these steps, you can accurately generate Form 16 through the income tax software.
