Multi-Client Sync Process

ExpressGST || Multi-Client Sync Process

The Multi-Client Sync feature in Spectrum-CLOUD GST enables users to synchronize data for multiple clients in a single operation. This functionality helps streamline data management, reduce manual effort, and ensure that client information remains updated across the application.

Steps to Perform Multi-Client Synchronization

Step 1: Open the Client Master Module
Launch Spectrum-CLOUD GST and navigate to the Client Master section from the main menu.

Step 2: Access the Multi-Client Sync Option
Within the Client Master module, click on the Multi-Client Sync option to initiate the synchronization process.

Step 3: Open the Sync Bucket Window
Upon selecting the Multi-Client Sync option, the Sync Bucket window will be displayed. This window allows users to manage client selection and synchronization preferences.

Step 4: Select Clients for Synchronization
Use the Select All option to quickly select all available clients, or manually choose specific clients based on your business requirement.

Step 5: Choose Modules/Data for Synchronization
Select the required Notice + Return Register, Only 2B, 3B + ledgers, R1 + R1A, IMS + 2A, or ALL that need to be synchronized for the selected clients.

Step 6: Start the Synchronization Process
After confirming the client and data selection, click on Start Sync to begin the synchronization process.

Step 7: Monitor the Synchronization Status
Allow the process to run uninterrupted until synchronization is completed successfully. The system will process and update the selected client data accordingly.

Step 8: Verify Synchronization Completion
Once the synchronization process is complete, review the sync status or confirmation message to ensure that all selected data has been synchronized successfully.

Important Guidelines & Best Practices
  1. A stable and reliable internet connection is required for uninterrupted synchronization. Network instability may lead to delays or incomplete sync operations.
  2. Do not close the application, shut down the system, or terminate the process while synchronization is in progress, as this may result in partial or failed synchronization.
  3. After completion, verify the synchronization status to confirm that the latest data has been successfully updated for all selected clients.
  4. It is recommended to perform periodic synchronization to maintain data consistency and ensure that all client records remain current within the application.
