Express ITR || How to Delete Client or Active/Inactive Client

Note: The option to permanently delete a client is not available in the software.
Instead, you can Active or Inactive clients as needed.

How to Inactive  a Client in the Software

If you Inactive a client, they will be removed from the visible client list on the dashboard. After Inactivate, only active clients will appear on your client dashboard.

Step 1: Log in to the software, navigate to the client list, and click the Edit button under the "Actions" column next to the client you wish to modify.

      

Step 2: In the client's profile, you will see an option to toggle between Active and Inactive. Click this option and switch it to Inactive. After making this change, click the Save button.

      

Once a client is deactivated, they will no longer be visible in your active client list.


How to Reactivate a Client in the Software

If you wish to make a previously Inactivated client visible again, you need to reactivate them. Once reactivated, the client will reappear in your active client list.

Step 1: From the client's dashboard, click on the All filter. Search for the inactive client by entering their name, PAN, mobile number, or email ID in the search bar. Once located, click the Edit button under the "Actions" column.

      

Step 2: In the client's profile, click on the Inactive option and switch it to Active. After making this change, click the Save button.

      

Once the client is reactivated, they will once again be visible in your active client list.
