Zen IT || Excel Import → Type Mismatch, Error in excel import

      

Root Cause of the Error:  The error stems from either erroneous data entry in the Excel sheet or alterations to the format of the specific Excel file.

Solution 
  1. Validate Date Format: Verify that dates adhere strictly to the format "dd/MM/yyyy".
  2. Remove Special Characters: Ensure that the Date column contains no spaces or any other special characters.
      

Note: Prioritize accuracy by importing the Shares Tab for details entered in the Shares Template.
For data entered in the Equity_mutualFund Sheet, select the Mutual Fund Tab in the software before importing the Excel sheet.                 

To Check system Settings 
  1. To check and set the time zone:
    1. Set Time Zone → "(UTC+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi"
    2. Click "OK" to save the changes.
  1. To set the region format to English (United States):
    1. Go back to the Control Panel.
    2. Click on "Region"
    3. In the Formats tab, select "English (United States)" from the Format drop-down menu.
    4. Click "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes.
  1. To set the short date format to dd/MM/yyyy:
    1. In the same Region window, go to the "Additional settings..." button in the Formats tab.
    2. In the dialog box that opens, go to the "Date" tab.
    3. In the Short date dropdown menu, select "dd/MM/yyyy"
    4. Click "OK" to save the changes.
These steps should help you achieve the desired settings on your system.
