Root Cause of the Error: This issue primarily occurs when the download path for the consolidated file, Form 16, Form 16A, Form 27D, the Justification Report or any other online activity is inaccessible.

Resolution:
To resolve the above error, the download path must be corrected to ensure the files are successfully downloaded to the specified location.

Steps to Fix:
  1. Go to Tools → "Option Settings (Ctrl+O)".
      

  1. Verify and update the specified path using the Browse button as needed (refer to the attached screenshot for guidance).
      
  1. Select the correct path or use the default path, then click OK to save the changes.
      

After completing these steps, recheck the issue or attempt to download the required form.
