The Central Government or any other employer makes any contribution to his account referred to in that section, the assessee shall be allowed a deduction in the computation of his total income, of the whole of the amount contributed by the Central Government or any other employer.


(a) fourteen per cent, where such contribution is made by the Central Government;


(b) ten per cent, where such contribution is made by any other employer,


Possible Solution 

First of all, you have to check whether the salary income is added in "Basic" or in "Gross". (Go into Transactions > salary income )






If the salary is added into the gross then enter basic salary  in option  "basic salary + da for 80 ccd (2) "






Now check , 80ccd(2) eligible amount will be reflect in computation.
