Root Cause of the Error →
This issue occurs when the downloaded 26AS ZIP file is not extracted.
Solution → To correct this error, follow these detailed steps:
Verify the Date of Birth (DOB): Check the Date of Birth (DOB) entered in the client master. It is crucial that the DOB is accurate, as it is used to extract the 26AS ZIP file.
Navigate to the ZIP File Location: Manually go to the root location of the downloaded 26AS ZIP file.
The default location is: C:\KDK Data\Zen IT\AssessmentYear\ClientCode
Extract the ZIP File: Extract the ZIP file using the password.
26AS zip file password is the Date of Birth of the assessee in the ddmmyyyy format.
Validate Extraction: Ensure that the file is successfully extracted. Verify that the extracted files correspond to the given DOB entered in the client master.
Replace DLL Files: Close the software completely and replace the zip32.dll and unzip32.dll files (attached below) with the versions provided in the system32 or syswow64 folders, depending on your system.
Re-import 26AS: Open the software again. Repeat the process to import 26AS using the "26AS Online" button.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the error and imports 26AS successfully.
